Today
was a very exciting day on The
View! The guests just don't get any bigger than the legendary Sir Paul
McCartney, who sat down with the ladies for a rare live interview. Ever since
the night the four lads from Liverpool stepped onto Ed Sullivan's stage in 1964,
Paul has spent his career proving music can change the world and he is still
doing it with his latest CD Electric
Arguments. He told the ladies all about the new album, calling it the
opposite of what he normally does and he told us how he was able to pull off
writing and recording 13 songs in 13 days. We also saw a clip from his new music
video for the song "Sing the Changes." Later, the ladies asked Paul all about the phenomenon known as Beatlemania and what it was like being in the center of mob scenes around the world. He told us what the song writing process was like working with John Lennon and how John's death affected him. He also talked about his 5 children, including his very successful fashion designer daughter, Stella McCartney.
